Some users report this saves some time when they are very busy.

When you are on the Schedule form and need to enter a NEW patient that is not currently in the system to schedule a quick appointment.....

Type in the new patient LAST, FIRST into the Patient box and the system will ask you if you wish to ADD a patient by this name. If you click yes you will be taken to the Active Patient form and to fill in any remaining data that you wish. Closing the Active Patient form will bring you back to the Schedule form to finish the appointment. You can always go back and add the needed information later in the Active Patient form.
