Over time records are created in Schedule XP that are not completed. This occurs when data entry is started and then discontinued in favor of another task. This includes appointments, patients, and task related data. Database Maintenance is found on the Utilities Menu and can be run to clean up incomplete data. You should run this procedure at least once a month.
Note.. If you run Database Maintenance while someone else is scheduling a patient their partially completed entry will be deleted. Wait until no one is using the system for about 30 seconds before you run it.
